Frequently Asked Questions

Is the market open if there is inclement weather?
We are open rain or shine every Wednesday (Downtown) and Saturday (Old Salem)! Make sure to check our Facebook page for any last minute information on weather.

Does the market accept debit/credit cards?
Cobblestone is primarily a cash/check market with an available ATM for withdrawal that supports the market. Several of our vendors use the Square program to accept cards.
How do I use my SNAP/EBT card at the market?
SNAP/EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program/Electronic Benefits Transfer) is an electronic system that allows a recipient to authorize transfer of their government benefits from a Federal account to a retailer account to pay for products received.

Please come to our market Information Booth to access funds from your SNAP/EBT card at the market. If you choose to withdraw $5.00 or more from your SNAP/EBT card, you will be given an additional $5.00 market match to spend in the form of our market tokens. These tokens can be spent at any point during the market season (April-November), at the Saturday and Wednesday markets as well as at our special holiday season Pop Up markets in December. How do I use my FMNP WIC coupons at the market?
Please bring your FMNP WIC  (Farmers Market Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children) coupons to the market. You may take your valid FMNP coupons to our Information Booth at the market where we can show you how to use your valid coupons and double the value of your coupons. For example, for every $4.00 coupon you have, the CFM Food Access Program will give you an additional $4.00 market match to spend in the form of our market tokens. Coupons can purchase fruits and vegetables. The additional wooden tokens can be used to purchase fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese, bread, and jam. Where should I park?
Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the market on Salt Street. Additional parking is available in the grass lot across from the market on Academy Street, just off Main Street.
Are dogs allowed at the market?
Dogs on leashes are allowed at the market. Please be mindful of your pet’s demeanor and behavior in large crowds when deciding whether or not to bring your furry friend. Leashes and proper disposal of animal waste are mandatory.
What can I do with the products at the market?
Check out our recipe page with suggested ingredients lists! Speak with your producer or check with us at the information booth for menu or recipe ideas. Before you know it, your shopping list will expand and you will be cooking with the freshest food available during every season.
How do I become a vendor at the Cobblestone Farmers Market?
Thank you for checking in with Cobblestone! New vendor applications and guidelines are now available for the 2017 season. If you are interested in applying, read more here. Please note, we do have a waiting list for some areas of production which includes vegetable production. We love to know who is producing what and encourage applications particularly for those producing fruit or specialty crops and products.
