THE COBBLESTONE FARMERS MARKET NEWSLETTER
January 19, 2019
Our WINTER MARKET Is BACK and BETTER than EVER!
Four years ago, we started a small winter market INDOORS (very important) at the Chatham Building on 4th Street with our 8-12 stalwart producers who came rain or shine to keep fresh and beautifully produced food accessible to as many as possible.
During these 4 years, our producers have steadily ramped up their production, planning for bountiful seasonal product most of the year by adding hoop houses, increasing flocks and crops, and learning the 4 season ropes of producing in order to keep the high quality, tasty product coming to you
ALMOST all year( 45 weeks so far!)
This year, we are seeing the results of their thoughtful talents and business acumen at the December PopUps and now.Winter Market for ten weeks, beginning THIS Saturday!

The Cobblestone Farmers Market is dedicated to increasing access to local, sustainably grown food in Winston-Salem and growing our regional food economy through a nurturing and thriving marketplace.
In order to invest in the growth potential of the market and increase the health and wellness impact on Winston Salem’s most distressed communities, the Cobblestone Farmers Market requires more time dedicated to its Food Access Program and increased marketing funds for its incentive program and midweek market.
Please consider giving to help support Cobblestone’s growth of the necessary time and resources to building the local food community and providing healthy food programming and extended market hours or days that are beneficial to underserved communities.
