We are happy to see some of our vendors back this week who have been hit by the hurricanes. There are many true stories of helping hands during these natural disasters, often random acts of kindness that are almost magically impactful. One such story is the rescue of PTB’s meat freezers when they lost power due to Hurricane Michael and the outlooks was for many days. Luckily a chef friend, Harrison Littell, and others came to the rescue and got those freezers

Brasstown is a bean to bar manufacturer founded in Winston-Salem North Carolina in 2011 by Rom Still and Barbara Price. All of their cacao beans are direct trade and organic.
Brasstown Chocolate has won 16 International Chocolate Awards, 3 Academy of Chocolate Awards, 2 Good Food Awards finalists and one Good Food Award win.

David is a senior at Wake Forest University this year, and has been connected to the Farmers Market through Farmer Food Share and Campus Kitchen for several years now. Please let us know if you would like to shoot the market and we will gladly describe our guidelines for photography and share some of our image needs! Any photos we use would be acknowledged on our website. Due to the pixel needs in most websites, we do need pics that are taken with a camera just a little different from our trusty phones!
