A SPECIAL GUEST

Le’Chateau Bakery
can be summed up into one Phrase ” Love Wrapped In A Cake”.. We have been a small community bakery for over 21 years. Starting out as a wholesale bakery years ago, Mrs. Geneva Dinkins grew weary of baking without a much needed help system and closed the bakery.  Recently in May of 2018 she gained her fire back for baking!
Matthew Dinkins, Geneva Dinkins’s son, persuaded her that this time around she should grant him the business affairs. Needless to say she did and he was able to offer his background of business marketing to bring Le’ Chateau Bakery into a new light.
The love that Geneva Dinkins has for baking is unmatched. Raised on farm in South Carolina, her mother and grandmother always were creating works of art in the kitchen. This southern style of baking is what we plan on bringing to our community. Le’ Chateau bakes with no preservatives locally sourced farm fresh eggs, butter, and local non GMO flours.
Rest and be assured that your taste buds will thank you after you’ve tasted a Heavenly Treat From Le’Chateau Bakery!

COOKING WITH THE SEASON

From potatoes to crispy kale, fresh autumn veggies will put you in the fall mood better than a pumpkin spice latte ever could.
The changing leaves mean it’s time to re-introduce comforting soups and stews to our dinner tables, and cooler temperatures make us all the more eager to turn our ovens back on!

The best and easiest way to get these veggies into your tummies is roasting!
Set that oven to 450 and get rolling with cabbages, kales, sweet potatoes, squash, turnips, broccoli, or any favorite fall veggie!
Throw in some nuts and Add a protein to your roasting pans and create an entire meal – easy set up AND clean up!

How to wow your guests with these glorious Candy Roaster Squash and share with them the sweet sweet history.

Nuts and seeds are so readily available at grocery stores that we may not think of them as being seasonal. But at the Cobblestone Farmers Market where shopping is guided by the rhythm of the seasons, autumn is clearly the time for Walnuts and Hazelnuts from Felsbeck Farm – easiest way to get to these delicious gems is roasting!

What better way to celebrate the season than through food?
